Hey, there.
I love art. And that's saying it lightly. I'm always losing myself in learning new ways to create. This version of me has muddy hands (and I really, really like this version). Now that I have a home pottery studio (which I've named The Birch Kiln), I am working every day to better my skill and I'm so excited to share the process and my art with you.

I have this crazy obsession for weird statement art and functional art and get to blur the lines when making pottery.

Each piece carries the marks of the making process, each piece entirely unique.
The Birch Kiln participates in many michigan markets and craft and vendor shows.

REMEMBER
All pieces are food and microwave safe UNLESS MARKED OTHERWISE. Most pottery can withstand temps in your dishwasher, but we always suggest handwashing for ultimate safety and longevity. Boiling liquids should not be placed in your hand made pottery. Treat your pottery with care - rough handling and over crowded storage can damage or crack your pieces.
